Some unselfish friends suggested that I should insert in this site a summary of the book )que( , with the purpose of informing the publishers that this book is not to be despised after the Géa masterwork and mainly: the book )que( would be an excellent way and great test to start the publishing of my works.

The difficult thing for me is not to revel the tremendous secret inside that book, when summarizing it, not to destroy the surprise, one of the motives for people want to read it.

Nothing better I found to present a summary of )que( to the publishers than the following.

Here is what I wrote with my macaronic and unpretentious English to an American cinematographer who works in Hollywood and is a friend of mine. Soon I will be presenting news about this person in this site. The text (in brown) below explains concisely the book named )que(, which interested that friend very much, to whom I suggested the reading of this book as an easy text to the learning of Portuguese language:

At the beginning of the book I tell two paralel
stories: one is about the difficulties that a writer named Clestis
(another Cláudio...) and his little family (a beautiful wife and an incredible son) face with their neighbours; the other is a mystical adventure inside a mirror. In one chapter, Clestis is in the "material world" and in the other chapter Clestis faces a tremendous and mystical adventure while he is in front of a mirror, which is on a wall of the bathroom of his simple house. So, in these alternate chapters we have a series of adventures which could be alone in the book and still make sense. But this alternance of the "physical world" and the "immaterial world" is the trick to show without words what I am trying to say*, that life has also two sides, and each side gives value to the other. Clestis enters the mirror and is in another world, another time ........Clestis was transported to the very ancient past of the planet and followed its changes, in several visits which he made by crossing the Portal, which was that simple and poor mirror. Many other incredible stories are told.....

Here is the translation to Portuguese of that small text:

No começo do livro vou contando duas histórias paralelas: uma é sobre as dificuldades que o escritor chamado Clestis (um outro Cláudio) e sua pequena família (uma bela mulher e um filho incrível) têm com seus vizinhos; a outra, é uma aventura mística dentro de um espelho. Num capítulo, Clestis está no "mundo material"; no outro, Clestis se depara com uma tremenda e mística aventura quando se põe perante o espelho, que está na parede do banheiro de sua casa simples. Portanto, os capítulos que se alternam com os da história das dificuldades com os vizinhos apresentam uma série de aventuras, as quais poderiam estar sozinhas no livro e ainda fazer sentido. Porém a alternância entre o "mundo físico" e o "mundo imaterial" é o truque para mostrar, sem palavras, aquilo que estou tentando dizer*, que a vida tem dois lados e que cada um desses lados dá valor ao outro. Clestis entra no espelho e está num outro mundo, um outro tempo........ Clestis foi transportado para o passado muito remoto do planeta e seguiu as suas mudanças, em diversas visitas que ele fez ao cruzar o Portal, que é aquele vulgar e pobre espelho. Muitas outras histórias incríveis são contadas.....
